12/17 Opscode Code Review

#1

Google Hangouts appear to have new security features that prevent you from passing the hangout URL to people outside of your Google Apps organization. We’ll work on trying to figure out how to work around this more this week.

To merge:
CHEF-3452 - uploading frozen cookbooks shows unfriendly error message
CHEF-2682 - Redirected API requests can result in confusing error messages

Other:
CHEF-3356 - Support for environments from json and ruby dsl files on chef-solo
Reopened - Needs a rebase and to deal with cookbook version constraints
CHEF-3611 - Add ability to download recipes from private AWS S3 buckets
Reopened - Needs tests
CHEF-3332 - The route resource provider will always delete config file even for :add action
Reopened - Don’t need an argument for #generate_config

Bryan,

CHEF-3237 is not in this list while a fix was provided. I just noticed in
the ticket itself that the Fix Version has been pushed to 10.18.0. Why is
that?

As a side note: why doesn’t this “Fix Version” change show up in the ticket
Activity tab? Due to that, there is not email notification sent so I wasn’t
aware of this change.
