# Api to communicate with chef server

I want to create a chef vault dynamically from node.js application to chef server.  
Is there any API to do so?

I have to say that typing “node js chef api” into google resulted in several possibilities. [https://github.com/normanjoyner/chef-api](https://github.com/normanjoyner/chef-api) looks most promising.

Yeah !! So if this is the APi but we are not getting any such function which can be used to create chef vault using this API from my Node.js application.
