# Chef back-end with external RDS

Is anyone running a HA back-end cluster that is using an RDS database? I haven’t seen any reference to it within any of the chef back-end docs and was unsure if I could just use the same configuration I’d use for a single chef server to use RDS and just replicate that setup across all of the back-end nodes.
