Chef Client 12.7.2 Released

Greetings!

We recently (partly last night, partly this morning) released Chef Client 12.7.2. See the blog post for a description of new features. The CHANGELOG has the full list of PRs that went into this release.

The downloads site is still in the process of being updated but it should be available soon. The install script (curl https://omnitruck.chef.io/install.sh | sudo bash -s -- on Linux or . { iwr -useb https://omnitruck.chef.io/install.ps1 } | iex; install on Windows) and any other sources which use Omnitruck have the correct 12.7.2 package already.

I’m getting an error when I switched to 12.7.2 from 12.5.1. It seems that the multipart-post gem is not there even though it is in the Gemfile.lock and faraday depends on it. https://gist.github.com/grimm26/25698ea1d5c76eff5a6a
