# Chef Compliance 1.7.3 & InSpec 1.7.1

Dear Compliance & InSpec friends,

_Chef Compliance 1.7.3_ is now available from the [Chef downloads site](https://downloads.chef.io/compliance/). This is a minor release update which is recommended for all users of Chef Compliance. Here are the enhancements and bug fixes included in this release:

**Enhancements:**

- Ability to upload [meta-profiles](https://github.com/chef/inspec/tree/master/examples/meta-profile)
- Includes [InSpec 1.7.1](https://github.com/chef/inspec/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md) with improvements and fixes named below.

**Fixed bugs:**

- Unable to install compliance on server with enabled LDAP
- Fix compliancestatus calculator when multiple profiles are used

_InSpec 1.7.1_

**Enhancements:**

- run test on remote host using SSH agent private key authentication: `inspec exec test.rb -t ssh://user@hostname`
- Show process name during inspec output [#1329](https://github.com/chef/inspec/pull/1329)
- Vendor profile when uploading to chef-compliance [#1334](https://github.com/chef/inspec/pull/1334)
- inspec check and json to use vendored dependencies [#1321](https://github.com/chef/inspec/pull/1321)

**Fixed bugs:**

- RegExp in processes resource can’t match long-run process [#1332](https://github.com/chef/inspec/pull/1332)
- inspec.lock not loaded from tarball profiles [#1322](https://github.com/chef/inspec/issues/1322)
