# Chef Infra Client 17.6.18 Released!

We are delighted to announce the availability of version 17.6.18 of Chef Infra Client.

- Updated cacerts to remove the expired DST Root CA X3 root certificate causing failures with Lets Encrypt certificates

## Get the Build

As always, you can download binaries directly from [downloads.chef.io](https://downloads.chef.io/products/infra?v=17.6.18) or by using the `mixlib-install` command-line utility:

```auto
$ mixlib-install download chef -v 17.6.18

```

Alternatively, you can install Chef Infra Client using one of the following command options:

```auto
# In Shell
$ curl https://omnitruck.chef.io/install.sh | sudo bash -s -- -P chef -v 17.6.18
# In Windows Powershell
. { iwr -useb https://omnitruck.chef.io/install.ps1 } | iex
```
