We are delighted to announce the availability of version 15.0.9 of Chef Infra Server.

## New Features

- We switched the search engine used by Chef Infra Server from Elasticsearch to OpenSearch. We switched to OpenSearch because it includes the Open Distro security plug-in, which provides authentication and is missing from Elasticsearch, and because Elasticsearch changed its license from the Apache License to the Elastic License v2.

## Security

### Python 3.10.5

- Upgraded Python from 3.10.4 to 3.10.5.
