# Chef reporting API always throws 404 error

Hi,  
I am facing issue where i am not able to use reporting api.  
I have formed correct request with all required headers.  
still I am getting following error :  
C:/opscode/chefdk/embedded/lib/ruby/2.4.0/net/http/response.rb:122:in `error!’:404 “Not Found” (Net::HTTPServerException)

Using knife reporting plugin commands like"knife runs list node\_name" it is working fine only failing with reporting API.  
Can you please help to find out the solution.  
Am i missing anything ?
