We are delighted to announce the availability of version 23.7.1042 of Chef Workstation.

## Updated Components

### Chef InSpec

Updated Chef InSpec from 5.21.29 to 5.22.3. See the [Chef InSpec release notes](https://docs.chef.io/release_notes_inspec/) for a full list of improvements and features.

## Bug Fixes

- Updated the `chef` CLI to fix an issue where cookbook generator converge fails when run from the same parent directory as a new cookbook
- Updated Berkshelf to fix an issue where invalid Cookbook dependency versions were allowed to be uploaded using `berks upload`.
