# Configure workstation after install chef server

so, i created an ec2 instance and have chef server installed on it. i am having trouble configuring my workstation to work with chef server. I am getting an error an error: Permission denied (publickey) when trying to scp my private key that was created over to my workstation and am also having trouble setting up my knife.rb file. Any help would be great.
