# ERROR: Error connecting to https://packagecloud.io/gpg.key

I tried to install Chef 12.5 (chef-server-core\_12.5.0-1\_amd64.deb) and some requests from the “chef-server-ctl recongiure” were blocked:

ERROR: Error connecting to [https://packagecloud.io/gpg.key](https://packagecloud.io/gpg.key), retry 1/5

But I was able to wget the file “[https://packagecloud.io/gpg.key](https://packagecloud.io/gpg.key)”.  
Is there anything I need to setup for the installation?

You need to let the retries run their course so we see the original error. Without seeing that, we can't tell if it's networking, DNS, or something else.
