Fwd: New User Interface - Status page

I’ve re-enabled and formatted the new Status page, pushed chef-129 tip.

Regards,

AJ

I'll be merging this tommorrow, and likely sticking something in for
the interim JSON editing.

Just added a submodule for the jsoneditor @ http://somanyschemes.com/2009/02/17/javascript-json-editor/

Going to spend some time integrating it later this evening ready for
merge tomorrow.

AJ

Initial tests with the jsoneditor below show that it is far too slow
to deal with the massive amounts of JSON we're storing for each node,
also without modifications it does not understand how to update our
controller. Firefox has been locked at 100% cpu for 5 minutes trying
to rebuild my Macbook's node data tree.

Anyone have any experience with (preferably) a jQuery-based JSON edit-
in-place treeview widget that can handle a lots of raw JSON? =D

AJ

I have added the JSON tree view from CouchDB's Futon and re-
implemented jeditable as jsoneditor didn't handle the data pr0n that
ohai is. I've pushed the tip of fujin/chef-129.

This is what it looks like so far:

Sorry to re-post, looks like I broke the chef-server-slice gem
package. I just pushed a commit
(2f8085139f152fb7e40de9ef4c311d61a0137449) that fixes this so make
sure you rebase your local copy if you've been testing and noticed this.

git fetch fujin
git rebase fujin/chef-129
rake install
