# Has anyone else got problems with deploy resource on Chef 10.14.X?

Hi

I was trying to get working with Chef 10.14.12 a recipe I had working  
with Chef 10.12.0 and doesn't work. I isolate the issue and it's the  
deploy resource.  
It doesn't work for me on Chef 10.14.0, nor on Chef 10.14.2.

The problem is that it suppose to create 'deploy\_to' and 'shared\_path'  
directories but it doesn't, but act like they were created, so the  
code follow to the next action and then fails.

I filled a bug ([http://tickets.opscode.com/browse/CHEF-3435](http://tickets.opscode.com/browse/CHEF-3435)), but I  
was wondering if it just happend to me or nobody else has tried yet  
the 'deploy' resource with Chef 10.14.2.

I'm trying a very simple recipe with a opscode box for Vagrant  
(opscode-ubuntu-12.04) and with the Chef 10.14.2 gem installed. All  
the info and outputs are in the ticket.

All fixed on 10-stable, we'll get another patch release out in a couple of days.
