# How do I uninstall Habitat?

I’ve installed Habitat using the following command for Linux on [Installing Chef Habitat](https://www.habitat.sh/docs/install-habitat/)

- curl [https://raw.githubusercontent.com/habitat-sh/habitat/master/components/hab/install.sh](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/habitat-sh/habitat/master/components/hab/install.sh) | sudo bash  
I would like to uninstall Habitat.

If you’re on linux simply delete the hab binary and `rm -rf /hab`. On windows is similar but I believe its `C:\hab`
