Installation of opscode-manage fails on fedora

Hi bocuse leaders!

I’m trying to setup a private chefserver on my fedora (22) machine.

Unfortunately, while trying to install opscode-manage I got the following
exception:
RuntimeError: I don’t know how to install addons for platform family:
fedora

The error is pretty clear, but is there a way to hack this (e.g.
recognizing my platform as a RHEL7).

Best regards,
Charlie

can you share how you are installing chef server? im not sure if omnibus
installers are available for f22, are you using the rhel 7 installer?

Hi Ranjib,

Yes, I installed the RHEL7 rpm from Download Chef Infra Server | Chef
and it works perfectly (reconfigure too)
I can also create users and organization.
Only the opscode-manage fails.

Fedora is not a supported platform for Chef Server.

There are definitely clauses within the cookbooks underlying Chef Server that check only for Ubuntu or RHEL platform families.
