Hi All

I just learnt Chef last week, and today my first task is to check if it is possible to have the nodes to be configure by different Chef Server.
The reason for this is because our client is still running on chef 11 server and client, while we are trying to onboard them to our chef 12 server.
While we are in this transition, we hope to be able to run their 11 configuration on their client.

Chef Client and Server are generally compatible with the next or previous major version of the other. In some cases it may be necessary to use the latest patch release of one of them.
