Hey Everyone,

I wanted to announce three Windows cookbooks that Chef is now maintaining:

### chocolatey\_config

This cookbook contains a single resource that allows you to manipulate the Chocolatey config on your nodes. This resource is available for testing here in this cookbook and will eventually ship in Chef.

### chocolatey\_source

This cookbook contains a single resource that allows you to add or remove Chocolatey sources on your nodes. This resource is also up for testing and will ship in a future Chef release.

### windows\_firewall

This isn’t a new cookbook, but Schuberg Philis was kind enough to transfer it to us. We’ve released a new 4.0 version. In this new release the windows\_firewall\_entry resource has been converted to a custom resource, with improved state detection and a new delete action. This resource will also ship in a future Chef release.

Please give them a try and let us know if you find anything is missing.
