Hello,

I created a wrapper cookbook for iis version 7.1.0 ([https://supermarket.chef.io/cookbooks/iis](https://supermarket.chef.io/cookbooks/iis)).
My recipe looks like this:
_include\_recipe 'iis::default'_

_iis\_pool 'test' do_
_runtime\_version '4.0'_
_pipeline\_mode :Integrated_
_identity\_type :LocalSystem_
_start\_mode :OnDemand_
_idle\_timeout '00:00:00'_
_recycle\_after\_time '00:00:00'_
_action [:add, :start]_
_end_

The problem is when I'm trying to use kitchen verify to test if the pool was created. The error is:
_\>\>\>\>\>\> ------Exception-------_
_\>\>\>\>\>\> Class: Kitchen::ActionFailed_
_\>\>\>\>\>\> Message: 1 actions failed._
_\>\>\>\>\>\> Failed to complete #verify action: [undefined method `iis\_pool' for #\<#Class:0x000000000616d108:0x0000000006167ac8\>] on default-windows-2016-chef-14_

The test looks like this:
_describe iis\_pool('test') do_
_it { should exist }_
_it { should be\_running }_
_its('managed\_runtime\_version') { should eq 'v4.0' }_
it { should have\_name('test') }
_end_

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Looking at the current list of inspec resources, I don’t see an ‘iis\_pool’ resource for inspec at this time.

Only IIS resources I see are iis\_app and iis\_site.

Ok. Thanks for the answer. I understand now why is not working.
