Very nice Andy, this will help me a lot as I'm a noob with Chef.

Went through part I not entirely yet, maybe I have missed it, I didn't see
part considering admin.pem and chef-validator.pem. Isn't that somewhat
necessary for Chef client to talk with Chef server?

Thanks

That should happen when you do this bit:

$ mv ~/Downloads/\*.pem .chef/
$ mv ~/Downloads/knife.rb .chef/

Cheers,

Andy
