# Spanish characters on templates causes WebUI cant see cookbooks

Hi!

I suddenly starting to see the “ERROR: undefined method `close!’ for  
nil:NilClass” message, when trying to see my cookbooks on the WebUI.

Trying to fix that, i have discovered that the cause was spanish chars  
like: ñ, á, ó etc … on templates. Once i had removed that chars, i can  
see my cookbooks through the WebUI

So ¿What can i use these characters on templates?

This is a bug that is fixed in master but not yet released. The next release of chef-server should contain the patch.
