Way to pass ssh -o options to knife bootstrap?

#1

Hello,

Is there is a way to pass ssh -o options to knife bootstrap?

I’m interested in avoiding the ssh password challenge if the password was not correct the first time, with -o NumberOfPasswordPrompts=1

Thanks,

Knife does not actually shell out to /usr/bin/ssh, it uses a Ruby implementation called Net::SSH. While it can parse some options from a .ssh/config file, I don’t think this would apply. You can check the Net::SSH docs for a full summary of its internal config options though.
