After installing Chef 12, I keep getting this message when I try to
bootstrap any server:
Bootstrapping Chef on 10.8.30.15
ERROR: OpenSSL::PKey::PKeyError: not a public key
"C:/Users/tsojmw/.ssh/id_rsa.pub"
I’m not sure if this indicates a problem with my .pem files or somthing
else.
Thanks,

You’ll have to include the organization name in your knife.rb file?
chef_server_url “https://chefserver.com/organizations/my_org”
