Hello, Habicats!
On Wednesday February 6th, we will be migrating our PR verification on the Habitat repository from Travis and Appveryor to an internal build system.
Why are we doing this?
As Habitat has grown more complicated, we have run into limitations in scaling the verification, test, and release processes. This has led to longer iteration cycles and higher costs when it comes to both releasing and day to day development.
What is the new system?
Starting Friday, all PRs will be verified via our internal build system. Unfortunately all the build logs will be internal. However we are working on a project that will allow us to expose the verification test logs. This work is currently underway and we hope to have more information for you soon! In the meantime, documentation will be included in the upcoming change that describes how to replicate these tests locally.
