In my browser, it seems to be redirected, but I can't reach it if I'm referring to it from a script.
I'm looking into that, but the URL itself is extremely dated and shouldn't really be relied on for most anything that I can think of at this point. Is there something specific you're looking for there? If so, I can help you dig up the new URL.

Unfortunately, I have a system that uses Chef: 12.10.24, and some of the commands are now failing.
I plan on upgrading. 
Ah! Yeah. We've got opscode.com redirecting to chef.io now, but we aren't likely to issue a fix for Chef 12 for any remaining broken links. Upgrading is definitely a good call!
