CentOS 5 and 6 AMIs or boxes

Does anyone have relatively clean CentOS 5 and 6 AMIs or vagrant boxes? I
would prefer to use known good images to build Chef and dependencies rather
than random AMIs which may or may not contain vulnerabilities. RedHat images
are not an option because my amazon credits don’t cover them.

Thanks!

There are veewee definitions for centos6.0, probably that other junk
too. CentOS-6.0 templates by simonsd · Pull Request #78 · jedi4ever/veewee · GitHub

Check out the chef-box project from @dysinger; you might be able to
make use of it.

Hmm -- that veewee definition looks to be puppet-only.

I can't argue that too much, though, as the one I use is Chef-only (using
RBEL for packages): CentOS-6.0 (i386) + RBEL Chef veewee definition · GitHub

Just wanted to say, that veewee templates should include both chef and
puppet as a default.

The centos definitions should be usable for both now.

you guys have fun with it
