I want to call your attention to a blog post that was just published, Changes to How Chef Products Handle Licenses. This post contains information on changes around how to:
- Find the license information for all Chef products
- Accept the Chef Master License and Services Agreement (Chef MLSA) for proprietary products
Please read the blog post and understand the changes. If you have any automation around the reconfigure process for Chef propriety products, you will need to update your automation to take these changes into account. The blog post links to how to do so in the documentation.
As Chef products are released that contain these changes, we will ensure these changes are highlighted in the release announcements.
