issues we were unhappy with shell_out on Windows. Take a look at the

Bryan,
is it safe to assume that 0.10.8 doesn't fix anything for Linux users? I've
only seen CHEF-2819 referenced in the blog post.
I'll be pushing 0.10.8 packages soon to RBEL, hopefully today.
