Chef Infra Client 19.3.15 Released!

We are delighted to announce the availability of version 19.3.15 of Chef Infra Client.

Known issues

  • On Linux systems (RPM or DEB), you can only upgrade to Chef Infra Client 19.3.15 from version 19.3.14. For systems running an earlier 19.x release, we recommend uninstalling the existing build first and then installing 19.3.15. Windows systems support direct upgrades to Chef Infra Client 19.3.15 from all earlier 19.x versions.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Chef Infra Client 19 couldn't be installed on Windows drives other than C:\.
    Habitat-related paths now respect the SYSTEMDRIVE environment variable (for example, D:\hab, E:\hab), allowing you to install Chef Infra Client on any drive.
    Omnibus-related paths remain hardcoded to C:\opscode to maintain backward compatibility with legacy Omnibus installations.
