Configure Chef on AWS Linux Machine

Hi,

I am new to Chef.
I am having a AWS Linux machine for which i don’t have ROOT Password.

Now i need to configure this AWS machine as my node.

I am using Windows as a workstation and Enterprise as Chef Server.

Please let me know what i need to do so that i can configure the AWS machine.

Have you tried with other credentials with sudo access? I believe it won’t run without the sudo access.
