Error in chef-server web ui

Hi

I installed chef-server on a server machine, but on accessing the Web UI

I’m getting the following errors

  1. Users -> “ERROR: undefined method ‘name=‘for nil:NilClass’’”
  2. Clients -> “Could not list clients: 403 “Forbidden””
  3. Nodes (When assign roles to the node) -> Exception raised updating node, 403
    "Forbidden": 403 “Forbidden”

To help you out we're going to need more information than what you've
given. Can you start by telling us what version of the server you
installed? Was it Chef 11 open source or Enterprise? Was it the Chef 12
RC? If it was the Chef 12 RC, how did you install the web UI and what
steps did you take to set it up?

Also, the errors you're reporting, are you seeing all these errors in
the web UI, or are these errors present on the command line when using
knife as well?

Hi

I installed chef-server-11.0.10-1 Open source version using the rpm.

I get these errors in the Web UI. Command line knife works fine.
