Just started going thru the Chef Automate Tutorial and came to a point
5. Connect to the Windows workstation
Is this just for the tutorial or do I need to deal with Windows and powershell to use Chef Automate?
Just for the tutorial. An easy way to offer a standard experience most users have tools and familiarity to access.
None of the tools used in the tutorial that I saw were windows specific.
Just want to say, having to deal with windows and RDP is making the tutorial experience extremely painful and distracting. Its a really bad thing IMHO. I’m forcing myself thru this because I want to understand Chef Automate, but how many people who don’t use Windows just gave up because of this?
