Jboss5 cookbook?

Bryan, do you have a current version of your jboss cookbook out there
somewhere? I'm looking at deploying a jboss5 app in the next couple of
weeks... in addition to a tomcat/MySQL stack...
I would love to be able to use the application cookbook with jboss as the
appserver instead of tomcat

-Jesse

I maintain both tomcat and jboss cookbooks

be aware that the application cookbook is going to change a lot in the
couple of weeks.

I expect tomorrow I will post more information (as well as a request
for extra testing) to the mailing list, so watch out for that.
It won't support JBoss yet though—not until the first week of May at
the earliest.
But if you have a need for it and can wait until then, I'd like to
pick your brain for extra use cases than the ones I may have in mind.

Hey Jesse,

I don't jboss support should be built into the application cookbook.
JBoss is a fine JEE container but it is a magnitude more complex than
tomcat.

I will be doing a lot of work on the jboss cookbook in the coming
weeks that work will entirely focus on JBOSS AS7

sorry I don't have better news

What sort of timelines do you have in mind for Tomcat, JBoss, basic
apache sites?
Is this something for which you'd be interested at all in collaborators?
One person on my team is adapting the existing tomcat cookbook (just
about finished) to work with one of our apps, I was about to get
started on some jboss5 stuff... we have lots in the works :]

Thanks!
