Hi all,
I’m following the instructions in the “OpenStack Bootstrap Fast Start
Guide” wiki page [1] OpenStack Essex RC1. The page references versions of
Fog and Knife-openstack from https://github.com/mattray . It looks like
those versions currently won’t work with Essex. For example, line 185 of
"fog-1.1.2/lib/fog/openstack/compute.rb" [2] expects v1.1 of the nova
endpoint. I think Essex is v2.
Anyway, we are willing to work through the issues, but I wanted to get some
feedback and direction from certain folks on this list (paging Matt Ray!)
on what approach is recommended with Essex.

I hope to have an Essex build to test against soon, I've requested a
session to discuss Fog at the OpenStack Design. Given access to a
running install I can probably troubleshoot what the issue is, feel
free to contact me off list.
