A while ago I wrote a series of articles on how to bootstrap EC2
instances using Chef
(http://jeppenejsum.wordpress.com/2009/05/03/ec2-continuous-deployment-hello-world/).
I ran into an issue fetching files from S3 using signed URLs (bug
report here: http://tickets.opscode.com/browse/CHEF-269).
Are there any plans for including this in the upcoming 6.4 or is there
a workaround (besides making our S3 files public readable

Thanks for bringing this up - that looks simple enough we can totally
get that in to the next release.
