Your vim + Chef "workflow"

I’m sick of switching context to a browser to look up a single an
attribute for a core Chef resource.

I’m looking for better vim + Chef code integration.

Though the term makes my skin crawl when I hear it, it fits here: My
current experience is not “Delightful”

Can you provide suggestions and/or share a description of the vim
plugins + tweaks you’re using?

Maybe it’s time to start including a “base” of stuff for editor
integration (not the editors!) as part of ChefDK?

Hello Jeff,

I was just curious - did you get anywhere on this?

Thanks!

Jesse

I use mirror_pond set of plugins that works pretty well with chef and just the knife cli for looking up attributes/etc

I also added yasnippets1 to emacs for resource completion. Yes, hissss
Emacs, but still, it is out there.

I do remember mirror_pond though, solid plugins and kudos to Doug for
putting it together.
