Bershelf not installing anything in ~/.berkshelf

Hi 5 stars Chefs,

I’m trying to learn Berks, and I’m not able to execute it.
While running berks install on one of my cookbooks, it says it’s ok.
But nothing is on my ~/.berkshelf/cookbooks, also debug says that the cookbook
is already here ( DEBUG – : Already installed - skipping install).

I’m running the latest chef-dk on macosx, my path looks ok (export
PATH=$HOME/.chefdk/gem/ruby/2.1.0/bin:/opt/chefdk/bin:/opt/chefdk/embedded/bin:/opt/chefdk/bin/:$PATH)

Best regards,

Charlie

here's the full stack, but it doesn't help though...

pc39:hostsops charliemordant$ berks install -d
