Ohai Chefs,
We released Chef 12.4.2 last night with some upgraded dependencies and
several packaging fixes, including RPM5 support:
One big reason we did this was the repackaging should help us with the
ChefDK 0.8.0 release due soon

Looks like the 12.4.2 (128MB) windows client install is a bit larger than 12.4.1 (74MB). I looked through the change logs an nothing stuck out as the reason. I could have missed it though.

This is being investigated – there is no reason the package size should
have exploded like this:
