Hab.exe crashes due to faulting module bcrypt.dll

We are trying to bootstrap some of our Windows Server 2008 machines with Habitat. Installation goes fine but when we try to start the Hab Windows Service it crashes with the following entry in the Event Log:

No issues with Windows Server 2008 R2 and above.

I’m afraid we do not support Windows 2008 and do not expect Habitat to run successfully on that platform. Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 7 are the oldest versions we support.
