Help - Download Starter Kit

I’m trying to follow Nathan Harvey’s Chef Fundamental, Training Module #2.
I ran into a problem of Downloading the Starter Kit. The instruction has
specified to click on “Download Starter Kit” right after creating the free
hosted Chef enterprise account. I forgot to do that step, and now I do not
know how to get to that step.

I tried to create a new account, but Chef does not seem to allow me to do
so, perhaps due to cookies. I also tried to follow the steps below as
suggested on this page https://learnchef.opscode.com/quickstart/chef-repo/,
but it did not work for me.

Alternatively:

  1. Login and navigate to preview.opscode.com/organizations
  2. Select your organization in the middle of the page
  3. Click the “Starter Kit” link on the left.
The link only becomes active after selecting your organization.

Thanks!

From my experience, there's actually no way to get the starter kit link
besides immediately after registering. You can regenerate the client keys
but that won't provide you with the starter kit, just the keys. The only
way to get a starter kit is to register with a different account.

Best regards, Dmitriy V.

These instructions should work. You can also go directly to
Sign In - Chef Manage to get the starter kit (we just
deployed the release with this URL yesterday (
Changelog - Chef Manage))

I found out that the opscode site does not work well with both browsers I
have on my workstation at work. I can get the start kit from my
workstation at home.
