I have set up AD authentication in our Chef server. This includes a specific group is Active Directory as well as a service account and password. However what I am unclear about is actually adding the specific user to Chef? How would one who is in that group first authenticate to the chef server. Is there anything the admin user would need to do initially? I do not have the management console installed as I will have over 25 nodes.
Maybe a better question is how do I invite AD users to use chef without the Management Console (WebUi)?
