How to run chef-client --local mode without client.rb

Hi

any one can suggest me , how will I run chef-client --local-mode without client.rb.

when I was running chef-client -z, it is giving error, unable to fine client.rb .

You can use Chef-client --local-mode client.rb

You can also use chef-client -z -o yourcookbook
