Does anyone have any examples of a generica icinga2 recipe? And/or a reference for icinga2 for icinga1/nagios users? It looks like it has a whole new config syntax and I’m a bit overwhelmed when I look at things. I have a basic setup monitoring a few Chef environments, but things that I’m used to from the nagios cookbook (like all linux nodes being added to a linux hostgroup) are not done the same. Any help appreciated, thanks.
Looking at the cookbooks, it seems that Icinga2 is actually run/owned by icinga. I’d spend the time learning that cookbook.
