Awesome thanks guys
It won’t work on IIS6, you’d need to make something using adsutil.vbs or WMI from the sounds of things (http://forums.iis.net/t/1150007.aspx).
Will look at packaging it up once I’ve deployed a few more servers with it and are more confident it won’t break
Cheers,
Dave.

Nice Dave! Added it to Lightweight Resources and Providershttp://wiki.opscode.com/display/chef/Lightweight+Resources+and+Providers+(LWRP) in the “Custom LWRPs From The Community” call out on the right side of the page, and to Installation on Windowshttp://wiki.opscode.com/display/chef/Installation+on+Windows pages on the Chef Wiki for exposure and love…

Hi All.
I’ve created a chef LWRP for configuring websites in IIS 7 / 7.5
It is pretty basic but it does enough for my needs. Hopefully someone else will get some usage out of it too.
Cheers,
Dave.
