Hi All.
I've created a chef LWRP for configuring websites in IIS 7 / 7.5
It is pretty basic but it does enough for my needs. Hopefully someone else will get some usage out of it too.
Cheers,
Dave.

Wicked, have you considered packaging these up as cookbooks and distributing
on the community site?
Cheers,

This is really cool and awesome that you're sharing it with the community. It comes at a perfect time for us because we're in the middle of planning our chef deployment on window.
Without having dug too much into the code itself, any reason this only supports IIS7+? Or is it because of powershell? What could I expect running this on a 2k3 server with powershell and IIS6?

the Chef Wiki for exposure and love...

Awesome thanks guys
It won't work on IIS6, you'd need to make something using adsutil.vbs or WMI from the sounds of things (http://forums.iis.net/t/1150007.aspx).
Will look at packaging it up once I've deployed a few more servers with it and are more confident it won't break
Cheers,
Dave.
