Managing AWS EC2 nodes with Chef

Puppet has some stuff to list/start/terminate EC2 instances quite easily:
http://puppetlabs.com/solutions/ec2

Can Chef do something similar? I couldn’t find any cookbooks for this :frowning:

You’ll want to take a look at knife ec2 https://github.com/opscode/knife-ec2

And AWS OpsWorks http://aws.amazon.com/opsworks/

Cool thanks Nic, looks just as capable as the puppet stuff. OpsWorks is a
no go for me since it’s *nix only… This should work though :slight_smile:
