Managing AWS EC2 nodes with Chef

Puppet has some stuff to list/start/terminate EC2 instances quite easily:
http://puppetlabs.com/solutions/ec2

Can Chef do something similar? I couldn’t find any cookbooks for this :frowning:

TIA.

You'll want to take a look at knife ec2 GitHub - chef/knife-ec2: Chef knife plug-in for AWS EC2

And AWS OpsWorks Configuration Management - AWS OpsWorks - AWS

Cool thanks Nic, looks just as capable as the puppet stuff. OpsWorks is a
no go for me since it's *nix only... This should work though
