Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

Hi all -

I’m using the java cookbook to install oracle’s jdk, but for some
reason, after it is installed, I don’t get “jar” in my path.

I can see it’s part of the list of “bin_cmds” - is there something
special I need to do? I don’t see any errors or anything?

This is Ubuntu 12.04 on a vm…

Turns out it had nothing to do with the cookbook but the tomcat debian
packages that were mauling the java installation.
