We’ve released new versions of two of our support libraries today.
-
mixlib-authentication 1.3.0
Adds support for hostnames > 90 bytes using a new 1.1 version of the
protocol, fixing CHEF-3095 [1]. Defaults to version 1.0 for backward
compatibility, additional code coming shortly into chef in support of
this new protocol version. -
mixlib-shellout 1.1.0
Adds the ability to pass a string to shellout containing data to be
sent to stdin of the process run. This is in furtherance of moving all
of Chef and Ohai to mixlib-shellout from run_command/popen (CHEF-2994
[2]).
