We just pushed out a new version of the MySQL cookbook, fixing the the
server recipe failing to start because of a notification before the
package was installed (https://tickets.opscode.com/browse/COOK-3752).
While I was fixing this I found that the tests were broken for using
an alternate node[‘mysql’][‘data_dir’] location on Ubuntu. I tried to
debug this, but my knowledge of the intersection of MySQL, InnoDB and
AppArmor is insufficient, so I opened
