Hi,
After upgrading chef to 12.5.1, we have Windows servers that reboot several time a day without having updates to be applied.
I have noticed that 3 registry keys are triggering the reboot:
‘HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\PendingFileRenameOperations’
‘HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update\RebootRequired’
‘HKLM:\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing\RebootPending’
Do we really need PendingFileRenameOperations as we suspect this key to trigger these reboots?
We have many entries concerning printer driver (XPS writer)
Thanks for your support
