Unable to upload cookbook

I was unable to upload the cookbooks to the chef server and getting the following error
Unable to activate knife-container-0.2.4, because json-1.8.3 conflicts with json (<= 1.8.1, >= 1.4.4) (Gem::ConflictError). I have verified regarding conflicts but everything is good. Could anyone help me in resolving this.

You have an issue where your knife-container plugin is using a dependency
that cannot be met.

The author of the extension has committed a change that removes the
dependencies, but has not yet released it to RubyGems.org.

Thanks for the reply and an update to the chef-client solved the problem.
