I was happy to see that there are chef-client 13 releases for SLES12 now.
However I could not find chef-client 12 for SLES x86_64:
https://downloads.chef.io/chef/stable/12.20.3#sles
Is this “old” version simply not supported?

“Official support” for SLES was recently added, but you should be able to
use the RHEL RPM with no issues. That’s how we supported SLES previously.

I know about the RHEL rpms
But is there any reason/chance why SUSE rpms aren’t build?
SLES builders were recently added to the build matrix, so they’re actually
built on SLES for SLES. Before we were just building on RHEL for RHEL and
SLES. They’re not going to go back in time and rebuild old packages.
Thanks,
